Darlene Bradford is a motivated member of the LA Kings Sled Hockey Team and is using the sport of hockey to heal the emotional and physical effects of her fights with both muscular and lymphatic cancer. Having lost a leg to cancer in 2011 and had another tumor removed in Spring of this year, she is back out on the ice to continue her ‘Face Off With Cancer’. To honor her fight, we invited Darlene and her teammates to play a sled hockey game as part of our 4th Annual 3-on-3 Hockey Rally & Skills Challenge in the 'Darlene Bradford Division'. Additionally, we awarded Darlene a grant of $1,000 to cover her league and equipment dues to ensure she continues to use hockey to support her healing process.
